Andy Hatton is a British–Australian photographer, director and cinematographer based between Hobart, Tasmania and Manchester, England.

His commercial portfolio includes collaborations with leading brands and organisations including Apple, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, L'Oréal, National Geographic and Olympus. His work spans fine art, editorial and commercial commissions, bringing a cinematic approach to photography with a focus on architecture, memory and the relationship between people and place.

Alongside his commercial practice, Andy has developed a significant body of personal work that has been exhibited internationally and published in books and journals. His projects include PRESENT, a site-specific public exhibition on Hobart's waterfront, The Temporality of Being, and his ongoing series SYZYGY, which explores themes of alignment, perception, architecture and the passage of time.

Andy is the founder of Temporal Space, a creative practice dedicated to long-form photographic, cinematic and cultural projects that explore the relationship between people, place, architecture and the passage of time. Through Temporal Space he develops original works, documentaries, publications and collaborative initiatives at the intersection of art, design and storytelling, while also establishing a residency programme centred on architecture, landscape and artistic research.

He is also the founder and director of PIER+GALLERY, Tasmania's only gallery dedicated exclusively to photography, where he champions contemporary photographic practice through exhibitions, publishing and public programming.

Andy is commercially represented by Stills.
